How do I book into a class or cold plunge?

How far in advance can I book a class?
You can book your class up to 7 days prior to the class date. Auto-Renew, 6 Month and Annual Members can book up to 14 days in advance.
Do you provide towels?
The towel rental fee is included in the cost of your membership or credit packages. We ask that you bring your own sweat towel whenever possible. Bath towels are available for use at no additional charge.
Do you provide shoes for Spin?
Yes! Shoes are provided on a first come first serve basis. We cannot guarantee that your exact shoe size will be available. We will provide you with the closest available size in the event that your size is unavailable for your ride.
Can I bring my own spin shoes?
100%!! To avoid missing out on your preferred size, please feel free to bring your own pair of Spin shoes equipped with KEO clips.
Can I ride in my workout shoes?
No. All Spin participants are required to clip into the bike for both safety and to get the best possible ride.
Do you provide mats for Strength and Yoga classes?
We provide mats for our Yoga, Strength, MOVMNT classes however, we strongly encourage you to bring your preferred mat and props for Yoga.
Do you provide water?
Yes! We have bottled water for $2.50 (portion of the proceeds of every bottle goes to NIMC charity organization. To learn more about NIMC please go to www.notinmycity.ca) or you can fill up your own reusable bottle at our water dispenser located outside of the Spin room. If you are purchasing a bottle of water please recycle your empty bottles accordingly.
Can I book a class for a guest or friend?
Yes! You can book your guest into a class using single drop-in credits only. 2 free guest bookings are included with our Auto-Renew 6 Month and Annual Memberships. Membership guest bookings are for guests who are new to CHURCH Fitness. Guests will need to create an account when they arrive at the studio prior to participating in class.
How early should I show up for CHURCH?
We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class so that you can properly set yourself up in advance of the class starting. Please note that your spot may be given to a client who is on standby if you have not arrived 5 minutes prior to the class start time. Entry into classes is not permitted once the class has started and standard no show fees apply.
How cold is the cold plunge?
It’s really cold. Our cold plunge temp sits at a brisk 5 degrees Celsius. We suggest starting your plunge sessions at 2-3 minutes and increasing your time from there.
How long do I have the plunge room for?
You have the plunge room for up to 20 minutes after the start of your session.
Can I bring a friend into the plunge room?
Plunge room credits are good for one person. If you wish to bring a friend to plunge/cheer you on, you may add them to your session at an additional charge of $10 paid in-studio. Guest must have a CHURCH Fitness account created upon arrival. Adding a guest does not change the length of your plunge room session.
What do I wear in the plunge tub?
Please plunge in your clean swimwear.
Are towels provided in the plunge room?
Yes! Please use them to dry up any drips of water and to dry off prior to using the red light panel. Once you have completed your plunge, please place all used towels in the towel bin located outside of the changerooms.
What is the Cancellation Policy for classes I’ve signed up for?
At CHURCH we adhere strictly to a 8 hour cancellation policy for all classes and cold plunge bookings.
What happens if I do not cancel my class or plunge within the 8 hour cancellation window?
Your account will be charged a $20 late cancellation fee for all Memberships, Class Packs and Drop-Ins. Plunge pass holders who do not show up for their scheduled plunge will lose one plunge credit from their account.
If I have an Unlimited membership and I “no show” to a class is there a charge?
You bet. If you are booked into a class and do not arrive prior to the start time your account will be charged a $20 no show fee. As of March 12, 2024 Monthly Auto-Renew, 6 Month and Annual Members will receive late cancellation forgiveness for up to 2 classes/month prior to being charged for lat canceling or no showing a class.
What happens if I arrive late to a class?
No one wants to be late for CHURCH. Sanctuary doors close 1 minute prior to the start of class. No one will be permitted to enter the class once the doors have closed. No exceptions. If you arrive late for your cold plunge session your session time will be reduced by the amount of time that has passed since your scheduled session.
What happens if I need to leave a class early?
The class experience at CHURCH lasts for a full 50 minutes. Please do not book yourself into classes that you cannot stay for entirely. We commit to getting you out the doors at the 50 minute mark and ask that you respectfully consider the experience of others by not leaving before the end of class. We get it, life happens. If you need to leave the room in case of an emergency or if you are unwell, please let your instructor know that you need to excuse yourself and give them a thumbs up if you are ok and do not require assistance. Should you require assistance, a member of the CHURCH Concierge team will be outside the room to help. In the event that you are aware that you will need to leave early, please pick a spot close to the exit door.
What happens if I get into class from the waitlist and late cancel or now show?
The Late Cancellation fees for people on the waitlist who get added to class but do not arrive are the same as in #16. If you are unable to attend the class you must remove yourself from the waitlist to avoid being added to the class and incurring a $20 cancellation fee. If you are not added to the class from the waitlist you will not be charged or deducted a class credit.

What if I buy something and then there is a sale? CHURCH Fitness does not retroactively refund the cost or a portion of the cost of memberships, class packages, drop-in or intro-offers in the event of a sale. Discount codes and offers cannot be combined.
